Tim and Kathryn came to the Central Coast where they visited Pear Valley Vineyard before they were engaged. They walked up the ceremony hill, and it took their breath away. That's when Tim knew he was ready to marry Kathryn. And he wanted it to take place on this beautiful hill that overlooks vineyards. Wine country is the perfect touch of romance for a summer wedding.
I am always crying during weddings, because of my love for love. This wedding though, I cried way before the ceremony. We did a first look with Kathryn and her father, and you could see the pride in his eyes, and the overwhelming love he has for his daughter.
The thing I love most about weddings, is the community. Witnessing everyone rallying together in support of two love birds, is truly the best part. The friendships, the two families coming together. The Alford wedding really put the icing on the cake for this. The parents all spoke about how they prayed for their children to marry a God fearing spouse, and that they would have a strong faith to build a marriage with God as their foundation. Their faith, their love for the Lord, and their supportive family really highlighted that our God does answer prayers. I always take away a life lesson at each wedding, this was mine from the Alford wedding. Our God is faithful, and his love never fails, and he will always answer our prayers.
