ST GEORGE UTAH PHOTOGRAPHER | BEST NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER IN SOUTHERN UTAH

If you’re new here, hi — I’m DeeDee, also known as The Newborn Whisperer. I recently relocated my photography studio (and my family) to beautiful Southern Utah. After nearly two decades photographing babies and families, this next chapter is one I’m so excited to share with you — especially if you’re a new or expecting mom in St. George.

A Fresh Start for Our Family

Our move to St. George was more than a zip code change. It’s been a dream of ours for the past 10 years or so. This place holds deep meaning to me — it was the last place I explored with both my grandpa and my dad before they passed. Being here feels like home in every sense of the word. It’s a place filled with sun, stillness, and the kind of peace we’ve been searching for as a family.

I’ve been a photographer for nearly 20 years — working with babies, mamas, and families through some of life’s most tender milestones. I’m a mother of four myself, with children ranging from grown adults to little ones still at home. I understand how quickly time moves, and how important it is to feel seen and supported through motherhood — especially in the early days.

What I’m Bringing to St. George

What I hope to offer this community is more than photography. I want to create a space where moms feel held — not just by the images I deliver, but by the way I care for them throughout the process. My studio is quiet, clean, and intentionally simple. I bring calm energy, a gentle approach, and years of safety training to every session. Beyond photography, I absolutely love bringing entrepreneurs together to step outside their routines and celebrate. Keep an eye out for my upcoming networking workshops!

But even more than that, I bring heart. I bring presence. I bring the kind of storytelling that’s rooted in the in-between moments — the way your baby stretches when they first wake up, the way your hands instinctively cradle them, the way your family looks at each other when no one’s telling them to smile.

I believe St. George is full of families who want that kind of impression — something honest and beautiful and grounded in emotion. And I’m so honored to begin that work here.

If you’re a new mom or an entrepreneur, I’d love to get to know you — not just as a client, but as a friend.

Thanks for welcoming us home.🤍
